Island Life: SS10 with Hispanic spirit

New season style takes Latin America as its key influence. Natural, earthly tones are offset by folk-art inpired prints from a culture rich in art and architecture. With a muted colour palette paired with faded brights, colour saturated madras checks and plenty of leather accessories, this is a look that tips its (battered woven trillby) hat to Latino beach life.

T-shirt Contest - Inside or Outside Pants?

Hey! I'm asking you to be active on the blog!

I need you participation on what is going to be the first "Looks&Tips Contest"... about how do you prefer to wear T-shirts!

Should we hear it inside or outside of pants? What do you prefer... and why?

Some should say that under pants would be a more fashionable way and some sort of vintage origins,  the more conservatives may say that you feel more confortable with it outside. Is there any rules for this...and does it depend too much on your outfit?

What about using belts...is it really necessary? In what way?...

Let me know about your thoughts and opinions...feel free to comment!

StreetStyling - Ruben in Tokyo

No, I haven't been shooting in Tokyo! Unfortunately...

This is Ruben, one of my best friends.
He is a portuguese model agenced by EliteLisbon with 23y-old who lives in Porto and that has been having an huge success in his carreer both in Portugal and abroad.
In his carreer Ruben has already been modelling for designers as Jean Paul Gaultier, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Botega Venetta, Gianfranco Ferre among many others.
He has also travelled a lot working for many clients (from designers to magazines and TV) all over the world from Paris to Tokyo, from Rio de Janeiro to London, Berlin to Barcelona, Sao Paulo, Milan or Athens.
The picture below is from his last trip, to Tokyo, that was just "the best trip ever" he says. A city that never sleeps, with high sense of fashion and creativity but never forgetting their origins due to the strong culture they have with many many years.
So that is all a big reason to make us believe that many more runways you're about to hit, new designers  to work for,  and much more experiences and places to know... And then we just gotta be proud of you and of all the portuguese models working around the globe!
Wish you the best bro!
