Browline Sunglasses

Browline glasses might be the most seen sunglasses on the streets this summer.
They've become very popular in America having made up almost half of all the eyeglasses sold during the 1950s. This glasses were invented in 1947 by Jack Rohrbach, then vice-president of Shuron Ltd., an eyeglass company. As of 2010, Shuron is still producing these frames, and is one of the few companies doing so.

Original Shuron Ltd. Sunglasses

Their name derives from the fact that the bold upper part of the frames, frame the lenses in the same way that eyebrows frame the eyes.

The Boat Neck Tee's

As everybody should have notice this has been a "must have" these last seasons, being so I had to post something about it! I gotta confess that it's been difficult to wear a round neck tee these days.
Boat neck ones are fresher, more stylish, and maybe more sexy. Besides that they definitely go well with anything from blazers to cardigans, from shorts to chinos. Boat neck tee usualy tend to be oversized to match with some skinny jeans or leggings (almost everything goes well with leggings, right?).

Inside or outside bottoms? Hum... You decide! I give you some inspiration...

barre|noire

barre|noire was founded in 2009 by two Berlin Designers.

Their collections appeal by their choice of fabric, smooth leather and unique processing details.
Clear cut-design, selected and clear colours, reduced colour saturation – all these elements are combined to create the fresh, young and unique look of the newcomers.

They are still growing up as a child of the beloved capital, Berlin, but one could say the label is now entering the stage of adolescence. With designs that they define as a "conservative business look", Timm S├╝ssbrich and Aleida Roserare striving for the stars in fashion-heaven!

Although based in Berlin and love working there they believe that "Berlin isn’t yet in competition with the fashion metropolises of Europe" and this is why they want  to move their focus out of the capital for their next collection. They are currently looking for retail partners all over Germany, and further beyond in France and Switzerland, to allow their designs to be available to a larger clientele.

However, they still love Berlin. "We get our inspiration from the city, the architecture and its people". Berlin's famous diversity has also influenced the designers, who state that "it's good growing up surronded by so much creativity and so much inspiration!"
